Heat Treat Opeartor - United Technologies Corporation (Springdale, AR) in Little Rock, Arkansas For Sale

Operates vacuum furnaces and other heat-treating processes. Assists in design and implementation of continuous improvement of heat-treating processes including the use of vacuum furnaces, new equipment and procedures. Prepares components for heat-treating cycles and operates furnaces. Ensures components are processes according to appropriate quality standards and processes are accurately recorded on appropriate documents.
High school diploma or equivalent Minimum two years previous heat treat experience, preferably on aircraft engine components preferred. Thorough understanding of heat treatment processes on a variety of metals, and on a variety of heat-treating equipment. Proven problem-solving capabilities, along with a knowledge and understanding of ISO-xxxx quality systems standards. DARO is a FAA regulated facility, and compliance with such rules is a condition of employment. Ability to follow and comprehend written and verbal instructions in English. US Citizenship or permanent resident status required.
This position is located in Springdale, AR. Must be willing to work any shift.
